DECK REMODELS
(Before) The two original wooden decks were small, splintering and didn’t connect, and the ongoing maintenance was a chore. (After) The new wrap-around deck is larger and easily accessible from multiple rooms in the home. And the high-performance polymer decking is as durable as it is beautiful. (Before) Metal tube deck railings made this Fort Collins home feel dated. And the upper deck was a heat sink, rendering it virtually unusable on hot summer days. (After) New decking, railings, spiral stairs and metal canopy transform the space into a calm, cool oasis. The custom canopy and metal screen offer privacy and filter intense sunshine, creating an outdoor living space that can be enjoyed year-round. (Before) Our clients wanted more space to relax and entertain, including multiple decks and patios for indoor-outdoor living. (After) The back of the home has transformed into a true lakeside retreat, featuring expanded patio space, a cozy fire pit lounge area, and a wrap-around deck that can be accessed through the primary suite, living room, and new kitchen and lounge addition. (Before) The original sunroom was stuffy, narrow and rarely used. Because the space was fully enclosed, our clients could not use a grill there. (After) The new covered deck is spacious and inviting, with an outdoor lounge, barbecue station and dining area directly off the kitchen, and easy access to the beautiful backyard gardens. (Before) Our clients wanted to transform their basic deck into an outdoor living space where they could entertain friends and family in any season. The original deck on their Old Town Fort Collins home lacked protection from the elements, and privacy from the neighbors. (After) The result is an open yet protected outdoor living area with a fire feature, inviting lounge, barbecue, dining area, and custom metal side screen for privacy.
