HighCraft will incorporate your ideas into a stunning design that fits your lifestyle and reflects your individual taste.
Our full-service design team also has construction knowledge, which allows them to quickly determine if your wish list is realistic given your budget, timeline and intended use for the space.
New custom home builds require professional construction drawings, and many remodels do, too. This critical planning step is important to ensure your home is as structurally sound as it is beautiful.
Unlike most general contractors, HighCraft has its own in-house architectural team, led by an architect licensed by the American Institute of Architects and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He applies his years of rigorous training, talent and experience into every architectural design.
HighCraft’s architectural design team creates the conceptual plans to help you visualize your project, and the buildable plans to satisfy strict permitting requirements and to guide your entire construction process.
Key steps in the architectural design process:
- Brainstorming with the client and listening to your project goals
- Measuring the existing space and creating an “as-built” plan as a starting point
- Navigating and managing historic, HOA and municipal zoning and planning constraints (and any other regulatory issues)
- Assessing structural and mechanical feasibility
- Developing and presenting concepts, including 3-D renderings
- Translating conceptual designs into buildable plans
Our award-winning interior designers are assigned early in the planning process to ensure your vision and style carry through to the finished project.
They have specific training in planning the layout of interior spaces, and will guide you through the process of picking out finishes, lighting, paint colors and materials to achieve a cohesive design that suits your personal taste. Your level of participation in the design and selections process is entirely up to you. We recognize that making these selections can feel overwhelming, but our team has the uncanny ability to make it a fun and efficient experience.
HighCraft has an on-site Design Studio where our interior designers meet with clients to explore sample boards and finish options. It’s like having multiple showrooms in one convenient location, making the selection process easier and more relaxed for our clients.
Once selections are made, HighCraft’s interior designers will order, ship and track all products and materials for your project and orchestrate carefully timed deliveries to keep your production schedule on track. They will also keep an eagle eye on your budget, make sure all materials are installed according to plan, and then walk through your finished project with you to guarantee your total satisfaction.
