Kristi graduated with a B.A. in Interior Design in 2014, and holds the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. She also teaches interior design courses with an emphasis on kitchen and bath planning at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins.
Before coming to HighCraft, Kristi designed multi-family and senior-living interiors for a leading architectural firm in Denver. Although she enjoyed her commercial design work, which included contributing to award-winning projects in market-rate and affordable housing, she always knew her passion was in residential interior design.
Helping others is important to Kristi, especially working with individual homeowners to bring their personal visions to life. At HighCraft, she enjoys being part of a residential design-build team that sees every project through from concept to completion. She loves getting to know clients and making their lives better. It’s the one-on-one relationship building, Kristi says, that gives her life and designs deeper purpose and meaning.

LIKES: House plants. Color-coded spreadsheets. A beautifully poached salmon. Older architecture, especially Craftsman bungalows. A perfectly finished edge on tile, trim and countertops. Discovering, with her family, all the amazing outdoor places Colorado has to offer.
DISLIKES: Clutter. Black licorice. Projects that are left half-finished. Intensely hot days. Cookie-cutter houses with no thought in the design as to how people truly live.
More than meets the eye:
Kristi was born and raised in the East Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. As a teenager, she fell in love with choral ensembles and her high school’s production of classic musicals, including Hello, Dolly! and The Music Man. Although she’s no longer in choir or theater, you can find her with friends on karaoke night, belting out her favorite rock ballads from Queen and Journey.
