LIKES: Burrata cheese. Considerate people. The color black. Precise and thoughtful design where everything aligns (like a perfect joint in woodworking). Crafting. Capturing the perfect view. Ice cream. Exploring the Rockies with her husband, Shane, and their dogs, Charlie and Ranger.
DISLIKES: Low ceilings. Drivers who don’t use their turn signal. Negative people. Screamo music. Plumbing rough-in locations that make no sense. Taking exams.
More than meets the eye:
Juliana was born and raised in Westminster, Colorado. Obsessed with good design at an early age, little Juliana was often found wide awake, rearranging her bedroom furniture in the middle of the night. As a teenager, she channeled that same drive and talent into her high school’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club, where she won the FCCLA Interior Design competition at the state level, and placed first in her division at nationals. During her study-abroad experience in college, Juliana helped design and build a community center in Nicaragua where she mixed concrete by hand, and materials were delivered by oxen. Today, Juliana is a proud Tri Delta alumna, volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, and serves on the Historic Preservation Committee in Frederick, Colorado.
