Beautifully Organized Spaces to Inspire Your Next Project

The holidays are over and frigid January temperatures have arrived.  If you are stuck inside like we are this weekend, you might find yourself wandering from room to room dreaming up ways to minimize clutter and get organized.  Here are some of our favorite, beautifully organized spaces to help inspire your next home improvement project.

Organized Kitchens

Feeling inspired to pare down your massive collection of mismatched tableware?  Only the essentials survive in this stunning kitchen where open shelving takes the place of upper cabinets.

Everything is on display when you have glass front cabinets, so keeping them orderly is vital.  This custom kitchen built-in was designed to look like a standalone China hutch, organizing and showcasing the homeowners’ collection of vintage dishes.

We love these deep, full extension drawers with peg system inserts!  They maximize kitchen storage and amplify your organizational game in lower cabinets.

This clever kitchen storage system maximizes every inch of space in a blind corner base cabinet, and makes organizing food storage containers a breeze.  The best part?  Systems like this from Rev-A-Shelf can be retrofit into your existing kitchen if you’re not ready for a major overhaul.

Organized Pantries

If you have the space, a walk-in pantry is worth its weight in gold. It’s a great spot to store food, appliances large and small, cookbooks, oversized dishes and occasionally used platters. This custom walk-in pantry is an organizer’s dream!

This recently completed whole-house remodel included a walk-in butler’s pantry, conveniently tucked around the corner from the kitchen.

To keep the kitchen organized and clutter-free, the refrigerator and microwave were intentionally located in the side pantry.

As part of this HighCraft remodel, we created a walk-in pantry, also just off the kitchen.

The new pantry is home to the microwave and coffee bar, as well an abundance of cabinetry to neatly organize food, beverages and linens.

Organized Mudrooms and Laundry Rooms

When a mudroom is combined with a laundry room, it creates an indispensable utility space that makes home organization an easy practice, not a project, for the entire family.

This pool house mudroom-laundry room provides swoon worthy organization features like cubbies, closets, and hooks for guests to store clothes and personal belongings.

It also includes a utility sink, two handy drawer banks, and open shelving for arranging beach towels and shoes.

In this mudroom-laundry combination, each family member has plenty of space to store their coats, boots and outdoor gear in the floor-to-ceiling cabinets and drawers.

In this remodeled mudroom, our clients asked for as much storage as possible.

Custom cabinets create vertical lockers for each of the kids, providing a dedicated space to organize jackets, shoes and backpacks after school.

Shared open hooks instead of closed-door lockers are offered in this mudroom-laundry combo.

On the opposite wall is the all-important family message board, and a catch-all basket for each member of the household.

Organized Closets

An organized closet can start your day off on the right foot, reducing stress and simplifying your morning routine.

The walk-in closet in this HighCraft custom home includes a central island, pocket doors to maximize space,

built-in bench seating, and his-and-her shelves, cubbies and cabinetry.

This spacious master walk-in closet accommodates both his and her wardrobes, with bonus drawers and hooks for jewelry display and organization.

Organized Garages

Eliminating clutter in the garage will add valuable, usable square footage to your home.  Imagine the possibilities when you consider the garage another room in your home and focus on keeping it clean and orderly.

This immaculate garage and workshop are part of a custom two-bedroom, two-bath guest apartment and vacation rental our team designed and built over a detached garage.

The owners of this property fix up classic farm trucks in the space, as well as store equipment for their working ranch. Built-in cabinetry and perfectly sized storage bins make it easier to keep clean and stay organized.
