Built in 1924, the single-story Craftsman bungalow at 1500 West Mountain has been lovingly restored to its original splendor. Thanks to gracious homeowners, you can tour this HighCraft restoration and the home’s new addition during the 2016 NOCO HBA Parade of Homes, September 16 – 18.
Hosted by the Home Builders Association of Northern Colorado (NOCO HBA), the Parade is a self-guided tour you can enjoy at your own pace and it’s free to the public. So whether you’re thinking about a remodel or new construction, the mapped Parade route in this booklet will help you gather information efficiently as you explore your options.
True to its architectural style, the 1,500-s.f. home is filled with the warmth of custom woodworking, including solid oak floors, doors, board and batten wainscoting, and a built-in cozy inglenook seating area that flanks the refurbished fireplace. The home boasts an open layout, modern gourmet kitchen and hand-made tile throughout.
The purity of the Craftsman style is reflected in nearly every detail, from light fixtures to stained glass windows, and from tapered columns to the low-pitched gabled roofline of the new master bedroom and basement theater addition.
