Kelly graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Interior Design and Architecture, a minor in Business Administration, and a second minor in Global and Environmental Sustainability. Before coming to HighCraft, she worked on high-end remodels, custom homes, and senior living design for an award-winning interior design firm out of Denver.

Kelly loves getting to know clients and creating one-of-a-kind designs that reflect who they are and how they live. With years of residential and commercial design experience, she enjoys guiding clients through each part of the design process – from technical selections to choosing paint colors, and everything in between. Kelly also has universal design experience, perfect for clients with the goal of aging in place. And when it comes to sustainable building and design, Kelly can suggest the latest materials, products and systems for a more earth-friendly home.

“If I could tell a person one thing about HighCraft, it would be ‘HighCraft is going to take care of you.’ Whether you’re a client or an employee, HighCraft values relationships. Taking care of people is what we do.” – Kelly

LIKES: Making people laugh. Eating steak. Skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. Fishing and wake surfing in the summer. Swing dancing to 80s and 90s country music all year long.

DISLIKES: Poor communication. Drivers who merge at the last second and cut you off. When people don’t put their carts away at the grocery store.

More than meets the eye:
Kelly is from the small town of Granby, Colorado, near the Winter Park ski resort. She grew up on a working horse and cattle ranch, where she was highly active in 4-H, and began competing in local rodeos and barrel racing at age eight. After being inducted into the Middle Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame, she went to Hastings College on a volleyball scholarship, and eventually played on CSU’s traveling club team where she served as captain. Kelly now enjoys playing volleyball for fun, and being head coach for the competitive 11-Black team at NORCO Juniors Volleyball Club.

Kelly really listened to my preferences and kept in mind my remodel budget. She offered several options for items – but not too many so that I was (almost) never overwhelmed with the choices. I’m extremely happy with how things look with the completed remodel. – Sarah J.
