Renee graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, and is a LEED accredited professional through the U.S. Green Building Council.

For more than thirty years, Renee has deftly guided residential and commercial clients through the interior design process, always striving to make the experience fun and rewarding. With an extensive background in space planning and interior architecture, she loves to help clients articulate their style and discover new design possibilities. Renee stays on top of trends, is knowledgeable about new products, and keeps interior design options fresh. Most importantly, she listens to clients – using clues from conversations to customize every interior.

Renee has worked for design-build companies and architectural firms across Colorado, including The Neenan Company, RB+B Architects, and Poss Architecture in Aspen. During her five-year partnership at Oglesby-Sherman Design, her award-winning projects earned LEED Gold and LEED Platinum certifications. She created the design for several iconic local venues, including Austin’s American Grill, Big Al’s Burgers and Dogs, DC Oakes Brewhouse and Eatery, and Penrose Taphouse and Eatery. Renee supports local artists and is a former board member of the City of Fort Collins Art in Public Places program.

I was drawn to HighCraft because of the teamwork. We have a dedicated group of architects, designers, project managers, people in the field – all working together to achieve the clients’ goals. The teamwork is what sets HighCraft apart.” – Renee

LIKES: Dolphins, spontaneous dancing, and chocolate chip cookies. Supporting local businesses. Camping in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter. Playing cornhole with friends. Solving the New York Times Mini Crossword every morning. Making homemade fudge and pies during the holidays.

DISLIKES: Styrofoam, mean people, and bland food. Cars that drive slow in the fast lane, especially on I-70 heading into the mountains. Fake, synthetic smells. People who throw cigarette butts out the car window.

More than meets the eye:
Renee was born in Colorado, where she and her husband raised two amazing daughters. Renee’s cousin, a professional astronaut, once invited Renee to fly the space shuttle simulator for a day. To her chagrin, Renee’s epic crash, and her highly colorful choice of words, were piped through the facility for all to hear. She may not be cut out for space travel, but she’s a genius at space planning for interior design. And when it comes to recycling and saving the environment on planet Earth, Renee’s got the right stuff.
