Jenny Murphy NKBA

Jenny graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Interior Design, and is an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).

She loves getting to know clients and creating one-of-a-kind designs that reflect who they are. With years of residential design and construction experience, she enjoys guiding homeowners through each part of the design process – from space planning to choosing paint colors, and everything in between. Jenny says her favorite things about her job are helping to improve the lives of homeowners and watching them react to the finished project.

“I like that we do projects of all sizes, large and small, at HighCraft. And I appreciate our diversity of design styles across projects. We’re not a one-style design shop. We listen to the homeowner, and each design reflects the character of each client.” – Jenny

LIKES: Live music, nice people, and all vegetables (the more pickled and spicy the better). Organization and workplace systems, but with enough freedom for creativity. Hiking, fishing, biking and backcountry skiing in Colorado and Wyoming.

DISLIKES: Rudeness, eating animals, and generic design that makes a home feel sterile.

More than meets the eye:
Jenny has worked for design-build firms in Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver, and is a former member of the advisory board for design curriculum at Front Range Community College, as well as the International Interior Design Association’s regional Core Committee. Jenny left her design job in Denver for the chance to work at HighCraft Builders and return to Northern Colorado. “My heartstrings were pulling me back to the Fort Collins area,” she says. “It feels good to be home.”
