Bryan co-founded HighCraft Builders with Dwight Sailer in 1998. Bryan’s quiet strength and depth is respected and appreciated by staff, clients and industry peers alike. We’re pretty sure the phrase “still waters run deep” was coined for him. Bryan earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Pomona College in California and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Bryan is a Certified Green Professional and a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist.
As co-founder of HighCraft Builders, he’s a steady rock on the leadership team. When Bryan talks, people listen, and he makes every word count. A simple, yet powerful, insight from Bryan often provides the perfect solution, and his even keel is complemented by his even-handed approach to business dealings. Bryan’s word is his bond, and it’s backed by an authenticity and commitment to excellence that serves HighCraft clients well.
“In order to make it at HighCraft, every team member must have a genuine servant’s heart — a deep desire to please others. Much of this focus is on our clients of course, but it applies equally to our trades, suppliers and the internal teams that put together these projects and then execute them. When a group of high achievers is aligned around this guiding principle, it is extremely powerful and rewarding for all involved.” – Bryan
LIKES: Consistency through well-honed systems, following through on one’s word, continuous learning, and Trader Joe’s dark chocolate.
DISLIKES: A general lack of gratitude, making the same mistake twice, and anyone who cuts in line.
More than meets the eye:
Bryan spent his senior year of high school in France. When he’s not playing his guitar, he’s probably fly fishing or exploring the backcountry of the mountain states.
“We are writing to express our sincere appreciation for the excellent job HighCraft Builders did on our basement finish. Your timeliness, professionalism, friendliness, and management impressed us from the very beginning. Looking back to the starting point, we enjoyed working with Bryan Soth. He put together a detailed, organized, and thorough proposal. He then took the time to fully review the proposal with us and to answer our questions … we felt Bryan treated us with promptness and priority.” – Chris and Patty
